A Fun Accident

I made a terrible mistake where I grow up. On a beautiful day, the sun was shining, and the birds were singing. My parents visited to their friends, and they told me to sit in the car and wait them for a few minutes. Just as my mother would have done, I would like to try to do everything like her, but I had had a personal experience that I should not always imitate anything like my parents do.

Some things are easier to remember, and some are easier to forget. I can remember my most embarrassing moment as if it happened yesterday. I've tried, over the years, to forget this moment, but it just never seems to go away. As I've gotten older, I can think back to that day and just laugh. I was 12 years old when my family and I moved to a new neighborhood. I was starting my 6th grade year in a new school, with new people and no friends. I was a quiet and shy person, so I never hung out with the other neighborhood kids. Before school had started, I had met a few people who

"Your room looks so empty. It's so quiet around here now that your gone, I can't stand it", my Grandmother told me while we were talking on the phone. "I know. I miss it down there, but it'sgood to be back home", I replied. I had missed Sarasota, my grandparents, all my new friends, and the beach. It was only five minutes from the house! As much as I missed all that, it didn'tmake up for my feeling of being "home". I moved down to Sarasota the second quarter of my Sophmore year in January. I had beengetting into trouble, making unwise decisions, making my relationship with my mom really tense.One day, after yet another arguement over the "choice" of my friends and my disobedience, she suggested that I move down to Sarasota and live with my grandparents for the rest of the school year. I agreed and was kind of happy to get away. I said goodbye to my friends, packed the things in my room and headed down South. That was a decision that changed my life.
