This paper will evaluate, contrast, and compare ancient art. It will also describe anesthetic issues, materials, symbolisms, meanings, styles and techniques and processes that were used to create the artwork.

Art has been around for thousands of years and has continued have a big impact on the lives of million. Various forms of ancient art are things that we still use to this very day. Nevertheless, even with age it can be the most beautiful thing that the eye has ever seen. I will be evaluating two art works that are from the Metropolitan Museum located in New York, New York. They both can be found in the Near Eastern Antiquities Department. These artworks pieces are of adornment for the body, the first a necklace and second a pair of earrings. I chose these artworks primarily for my love of jewelry and secondly because of their beauty.
