Michael Dell established Dell in 1984, the most longest-tenured executive to manage a company in the computer industry, it is known to be the world's leading computer manufacturers that has transformed and distinguished a variety of business segments over the years. The company is valued on a simple concept: by distributing personal and business computer systems directly to customers, Dell would first acknowledge the customer needs to efficiently supply and provide the most effective computing solutions. This direct business strategy eliminates retailers that add unnecessary time and cost to its extent or can diminish Dell's understanding of customer anticipations. The direct selling technique has been their strategy that seems to have worked for years. It allows the company to respond rapidly and customize every order and offers customers powerful, richly-configured systems at competitive prices

For over 20 years, the company has always been associated with designing, manufacturing and building products based on an individuals specifications or preference and services made to satisfy a wide range of people, from individual customers to wholesale and retailing businesses. The company's principal to deal with customers one-on-one has become a successful management strategy for other companies as well. Gaining the market leadership position in computer products and services, Dell has always been cautious but confident of upholding and strengthening its marketing methods of providing standard-based computing systems. Revilizing the brand is going to take a lot of work but it can be done with strong customer service and improving the liability of its products which is one of the main reasons why Dell began to fail initially. Mr. Dell reaching to the Asian market will help increase sales drastically as well as shifting its distribution method to a mixed strategy such as reaching to retail sales. It would be a different element for Dell but careful planning and organizing, it would be a positive move for the company.Delete ReplyReply ForwardSpamMovePrint Actions NextPrevious
