Holder Construction has a unique way of doing business. They have different list of criteria starting from preconstruction to the finished project.

Holder Construction Company started in 1960 and they have kept the same mission statement for over forty years, which is "to provide clients with quality construction services" and for that reason they have had over eighty percent of their clients become repeat business. They believe in doing the kind of job that makes their client to want them to do their next project as well. Starting in 2004 and for the following eight years Holder has maintained ranking in the Great Place to Work Institute's top 25 Best Medium Companies to work in America.

Before Holder starts a project they take a "value-based" approach, by assuring the clients that they are focused on understanding, capturing and implementing the clients meaning of the projects value to them. Holder construction doesn't just estimate the project, the process they use reduces risk, get rid of coordination issues, and get the cost for the end of the day. Holder also focuses on help every client to balance everything from their budget, schedule, and the design to assure success for the project.

The list that Holder follows for every preconstruction that they provide to every client is:

1. Provide Dedicated Resources with expertise in cost, systems options & comparison analysis, sustainable materials and methods, design coordination and building means/methods constructability

2. Provide a thorough Risk Analysis vetting trade contractor's qualifications and capabilities, local regulations, contract conditions, establishing "zero tolerance" safety standards

3. Implement a Cost Competitive trade contractor bid process yielding the best value for our clients, that is fair and inclusive and encourages the use of Minority Business Enterprises on every project

4. Conduct a detailed Value Analysis of each system and material after gaining an understanding of our Clients' goals and objectives and leverage our experience to identify ways to reduce cost or enhance the scope. Holder leaves "no stone unturned" when identifying opportunities for cost savings and scope enhancement opportunities.

5. Implement a Seamless Transition from design to construction. Holder's unique approach engages the on-site team during the design and procurement phases. All team members assist with creating the estimates, schedule and trade contract scopes of work.
