"Exit the King" was a play about an old king who was told he was going to die, with his whole kingdom crumbling around him. He starts to lose control of the people around him and accept his death.

The costumes used in this play were made to look old and medieval, in my opinion. The girls wore long dressed with a sort of draped outer layer. The king wore old style linen under layer with a dark green cloak on top and the guard had a knight's outfit on carrying a big axe. The doctor wore a sort of "Harry Potter" style brown cloak, and the maid was wearing a white apron and a red bandana.

The make-up in this play looked just like normal make up that girls wear today. It looked like the kings hair was colored grey and he had grey facial hair.

The set and lights looked really cool. There was a sort of pedestal with the king's chair in the middle on the top and two other chairs below it for Marguerite and Marie, the guard stood in one spot the whole time, and the doctor was walking around the whole time. There was a sort of spot light shining on the chairs and when the darker scenes came they had a bluish purple light shining. Overall, I enjoyed the play and I really liked it.
