Within an organization, the Human Resource Department will conduct research of the organization's goals, mission, and vision for the Human Resource Department. The Human Resource Department must be conscious of the focal point of this research. Is the organization recruiting employees, compliance or training information, job analysis or competition? The stipulation and goals of the research must be implicit to suitably execute a precise research finding. Within the goals of Human Resource secondary and primary data sources are both great research instruments to make available data information. The organization must guarantee that the data that is being researched is valid and reliable.

Goals of Research of Human Resources

During the research for the Human Resource department must perform a researched that the organizations remain ethically and morally correct. However, if the human resource department is recruiting employees they must make certain that he or she follows the proper compliance measures required by law. Also, the human resource department must make sure that he or she are not ethically damaging current or possible employees in any way with questions, tests, action, or remarks. The human resource manager should not allow his or her personal feelings to interfere with the research and findings.

The purpose of the research is to present the organization with knowledge and insight of the objective or research problem in question. This research can be devise do to a question someone may have about an existing procedure or law that is in question. Suggestions and observations are what help to direct to researching any particular objective. This research can be prepared due to someone notices a possible conflict of interest with competition, or other employees who will be paid more, or just an outsider who noticed a enhanced procedure within another company that can cut the time in half of the organization's of the company's existing process. The goal of the research inside the human resource department is to assist in identifying the strengths and weakness internally and to fully understand the resources available to enhance the possible weakness.

Without this research the human resource department sometimes can make or suggest changes and apply them to our own problems. When this process is completed, we can see what the future may predict for the department as a whole. Business is these days doing systematic research to handle their day-to-day activities (Sekaran, 1992). Conducting research can make the human resource department just a little easier, not only in the business but in general. The research can thus be considered as a process of problem solving for a specific problem under specific conditions (Kuhn, 1970). The job of a researcher can be defined as an obserserver and each observation is prone to error; however we can go out and research
