Is it bad when a guy calls you cute or pretty instead of hot?

This sounds ridiculous but it got me thinking... Anyways, I get called pretty, cute, attractive often. But isn't that lower on the 'totem pole' than HOT?

Cute and pretty are not lower than hot, they are higher. A guy who calls you hot all the time just wants to get in your pants. A guy who thinks you are cute and pretty generally finds you attractive and probably has more respect for you. I hope that helps.

Yeah! Richard is right. Be flattered when someone calls you pretty or cute because that means you're a respectable lady. The term "hot" is usually addressed to someone whom for men is easy to get and sometimes is only after for sex.
