Takahiro Shiraishi, 27-year-old Japanese man, confessed to police that he committed a gruesome case of nine dismembered bodies in Shiraishi’s apartment. The bodies were found in different stages of decomposition. They were identifies to be dismembered and hidden in the apartment from late August to late October. One of the dead bodies is thought to be the missing woman on late October. The rest bodies were still on identifying. A toolbox and saw found in Shiraishi’s apartment may have been used to dismember the bodies.

Reports said the missing women contacted with Shiraishi via Twitter, seeking a partner for a suicide pact and saying she was afraid to die alone. Shiraishi were found having a relatively well-off family background according to the photos from his high school. Japan’s national broadcaster NHK said he was working as a “scout” in the sex industry, recruiting women in entertainment districts in Tokyo. Police were still investigating the suspect’s motives. He refused to give further details.
