Possibility of Evil

Miss Strangeworth could not belive what she was seeing. Someone had found out that she was the one who wrote those evil letters. She fell to her knees and shed more tears. Miss Strangeworth told herself "This is all just a dream Addie, soon you'll wake up and realize this is all just a nightmare..". She pinched her arm countless times but she knew that this was really happening. She finally got herself together and forced herself to look at her roses. The feeling of despair and fear rushed inside her. "How can they do this to me! I'm THE Strangeworth!" Miss Strangeworth spoke to herself. She stormed into her room, jumped on to her bed and pulled the blanket over herself like a scared little girl. Miss Strangeworth fell into a deep sleep.

Few hours later, Miss Strangeworth woke from her sleep. "What a nightmare!" Miss strangeworth said. She had forgot that everything that happened was real. Her thoughts were interupted by a loud knock on her door. Miss Strangeworth wondered who it was and headed to her door. She looked through her peephole and saw number of the towns people, including Helen Crane, Mrs.Harper and Don Crane. She opened her door with a scared look on her face. "May I ask why you all are here?" Miss Strangeworth spoke gently. "Oh don't act like you don't know you old hag!" Mrs. Harper yelled out. "Yeah! You're the one who was sending all those dirty letters !" number of people yelled out. Miss Strangeworth was speechless. She wanted to just close her door and hide, but she knew that would cause more trouble. She calmed herself down and spoke. "Now what makes you think that I, a Strangeworth wrote those trashy letters? Do you have any proof that you can show me?". "Yesterday when you were putting your letters into the post box, you dropped one. I called out your name but you didn't hear me." said Harris. Miss Strangeworth felt like an idiot for making such a foolish mistake. She was now completely speechless. The people started to stomp on her roses. Miss Strangeworth cried, begging them to stop, but the people of Pleasant Street was deafend by hatred. Soon, Miss Strangeworth lost her conciousness.

When Miss Strangeworth was concious again, she found herself on her garden. The people didn't bother to help Miss Strangeworth after what she did. Her garden was completely destroyed. Her roses were all plucked from the ground, all torn up. Miss Strangeworth couldn't handle the fact that the items that she treasured the most were destroyed. She lost the will to live. She went back into her house. She sat on her desk and started to write a letter. When she was finished, she put the letter in a green envelope and placed it on her desk. She then died a rope to the celing light and hung herself. After that day, the people of Pleasant street
