Bhalla International’s started its journey of Sports manufacturing in 1957.

Late Dr. Prakash Chand Bhalla (Retired Army officer), established “Bhalla Sports Company” for manufacturing of Sports goods

After 7 years of manufacturing in this trade, company realise the need of brand in Indian market for promotion and introduced brand name Vinex in 1964.

This was abbreviated from Winning “X-Generation”

In 1976 company planned to expand its exports to other Asian countries like Nepal, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, & Bangladesh.

Vinex started gaining lot of popularity in Indian market and thus the sales started increasing rapidly. The major reason for sales increase was the quality, timely & complete delivery.

In 1978 company’s sales were increased more than the manufacturing capacity of the company and it was becoming difficult for the company to complete the orders on time. To fulfil the time commitment company decided to quit their exports and started concentrating completely on the Indian market.

Key Facts (1978 – 1989)

Since timely delivery was one of the key factors of high sales, company decided to quit their exports1980.

Vinex was number in India for manufacturing of High Quality Tri-Cycles. But due to high storage requirement of this product, company decided to stop manufacturing of this product and introduced new sports products to their line.

In 1998 company realized their capabilities of exports and decided to bring in to being a new company Bhalla International. This company was made with a target to concentrate on export market only. Now Bhalla International is a 100% Export Oriented Unit.

Since its inception Bhalla International with the admirable support of their customers and workforce have never looked back and now company enjoys the growth rate of over 65% – 75% each year.

Bhalla International again realised that they further need to expand their infrastructure to meet their customers’ and markets’ growing requirement.
