Executive Summary

People always look for a better standard of living. Although we do not pay heat, a corner general store plays a major role in this fact. Once upon a time there were very few general stores and it was very time consuming to purchase the necessary items. But by time this problem is solved by the establishment of small stores at every lane. One such store is Shikder store. Like all other general stores, it plays a vital role in enhancing the standard of living of the people in the economy.

Shikder store was established in 2001 with a motto to serve the people of that area. By time it has become the best general store in its area by serving products at good condition and through good behavior. The owner of Shikder Store Mr.Gias Uddin Shikder expects to do even better in the near future by serving the people.

Chapter-1: Introduction of the Report

1.1 Significance of the topic

Time passes by and so does our busy lives. In our everyday lives, we always try to save our time in whatever we do. But do we ever think about entrepreneur just down the street working every day and night and helping us save our time? No, we never ever look back at the man sitting in a small shop after we have obtained our necessary articles from him. However, if the owner of the small shop did not provide us these goods, we would have to bring these things from the nearest big shop which would obviously be more time consuming. In order to accomplish this report, we have managed some time to meet such an owner of a small shop. The person we have met is Mohammed Gias Uddin Shikder, owner of Shikder Store.

1.2 Objective of the study

Study or working on any subject must have an objective. It may be only one objective or a combination of some objectives. Our study also has some objectives. Before submitting the report we need to discuss briefly about our specific objectives.

Specific Objectives

1.3 Limitations of the report

When we developed this report, we faced these problems which disrupted the fulfillment of this report. There were several constrains while preparing this reports.
