We are surrounded by teenagers who desperately need the feeling of approval to make it through the life full of trial and error. So to mention the fact that we live in America, known as the greatest country in the world, in actuality would gives us the idea of freedom. But if we really consider America the greatest country in the world and the land of the free, does that mean that we really live the life of freedom? While it seem scientist's are trying to make life better, for some people life never seems to become the source of fulfillment. The truth is we will never find true fulfillment in life without a relationship with Jesus Christ. The truth is that we are losing the teenagers of this generation through the schemes and strategies of the enemy, which we know the ultimate goal is to kill, steal, and destroy the lives of every person. As we know that we are losing teenagers in such a rapid pace to the very hand of the enemy, my question is what are the reasons and the potential causes for teen deaths? My opinion leans to the fact that we are losing teens to the violence on this world, also, to the abuse of drugs and alcohol, and to the top of the list in suicides.

What are the true issues of teen violence? I think it can simply point to a few things that are binding the minds of our young generation. For some teens it could have been the way they were raised, which involved a way of living a little different compared to the teenager who lived in great house, with great parents, and wonderful spiritual guidance. For others it could have been a mental issues or extreme anger problems. But in reality we can all agree that violence comes in many other ways. Lets take Josh Sylve who was born and raised in the great city of New Orleans, where he was raised in the project part of town. Josh was one of them guys who always found him self in the circle of trouble. Well one day Josh was being his normal self causing trouble which later that day it caused more than a fight, it caused a riot of the two rival gang groups that were known around town. Later through the violence and ignorance that took place earlier that day, Josh was gunned down and killed on the spot! Sadly, violence is still one of the very things that are slowly taking away lives, that never deserved death or in reality eternal life in Hell.

However, teen violence is not the only issue facing the youth of our nation today. By seventh grade, more than half of American teenagers have tried alcohol or a drug of some type. Drugs are one of the leading causes of deaths in the United States. While students try to fit in for the acceptance of their peers or the popular title, we are faced with the issue of grieving parents who never would have believed that death could have overtaken there children. The statistics of teen deaths are growing with intensity, possibly because of the lack of discipline in our local schools to the deepest parts of the streets. Let us
