The First Time I Met My Boyfriend

It was a cold wet rainy day in January. We were going to my boyfriend's Aunt Joyce birthday party. Aunt Joyce was turning 75 on that day. The party was in NC in a nice neighborhood that had a lot of big houses. So when we pulled up to the house there were a lot of cars in front of the house. I was kind of ashamed to go in because the outfit that I had on. I had worn a blue stripped dressy shirt with a pair of black tights and a navy blue pea coat. My shirt was kind of short so I didn't know how his family was going to react to my outfit. There was a lot of fear in my mine because I didn't know if they were going to like me are not. My boyfriend was telling me I didn't have anything to worry about. He said it does matter if they like you are not long as I like you. So we got out the car and ring the doorbell and my boyfriend's aunt daughter answer the door. When we get into the house everyone was sitting around talking and laughing just have a good time. His family asked who this young lady so he introduced me as his girlfriend. His dad was kind in shock because we had been dating for 8 months and I had never met him. So I begin to talk to his dad and we talk about a few things and he told his son that I was smart and I was a nice person .Then began to ask my questions so one of the question was do u know any Gilmores so I replied yes my grandfather was a Gilmore. So they was looking at me like you all might be related and I kept saying we are not cousins. Then I was asked to write down my information so they can do some research. After all that they asked if we wanted anything to eat they had pizza, hot wings, soda and birthday cake. We ate and then it was time to open up gifts. We had a great time and we left and went home.
