Chapter 1

Destiny's POV

As the car pulls into the parking lot outside our new apartment I can't believe that this is finally happening. My bestfriends Infinity, Theo and I are finally getting our own apartment together, it's just 5 blocks from Stanford. We all got excepted to Stanford, our dream school, a few months ago. We've all had to get threw alot to get to this point, and now we're ready to finally be out on our own.

"Here we are," Infinity yells as she climbs out of her new red BMW. Her long golden blonde curls sparkle in the sunlight. I watch as her 5'2 figure climbs on top of Theo's back as he carrys her inside. The suns blinding me as it reflects off of her pale white skin. Theo and Infinity Adams are quit the pair. Even though they are twins, they look nothing alike.

"Destiny Stone, get your ass out of the car and hurry up!" Theo yells as I watch them enter the building. "Im coming" I yell, chasing after them.

As I enter the building I take in my surroundings. The lobby is sophisticated and full of white and black furniture. Only Infinity would be able to afford a place like this, she is freakishly rich for a 19 year old. Granted her parents send her money every week which she gladdly accepts. Shes paying for this apartment which her, Theodore and I will live in. I don't have enough money to get my own place. My adoptive family dont have much money so i'm lucky to even be in University, especially one as great as stanford. I got a small scolarship for studying athleteics. While Infinity will be studying neurobiology, and Theo will be studying the arts.

Theo is the hot one of the group. Even though he is Infinitys brother, she can't even deny how hot he is. He's tanned and muscular, while Infinity is pale and tiny. She's not stick thin like some girls, but she's not nearly as curvy as I am. With my hyspanic curves and abs, Infinity and I are polar opposites. While I am confident of how I look, I would kill for her porcelain like features. She has light freckles and bright blue eyes. Although she is very smart and very aggresive, the girl is the most emotional person I have ever met.

The contrast when we're standing beside each other is almost unreal. With my tanned skin and dark brown hair, and peircing green eyes. The only similarity is our height.

"This apartment is perfect!" I yell as we come storming threw the door into our new home. I run straight to the balcony and stare out at the sunset.

"Sorry if it's a little small" Infinity says nervously. She stumbles into her bedroom and places her bags on the floor. It's a 3 bedroom apartment. With one bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and my personal favourite aspect, the balcony. Our apartment is open concept with beige decor. It's modern and has lots of natural light beaming threw the windows.

"So what are we going to do on our last night of freedom," Theo says as he steps out of his room." I hear theres a party a few blocks over?" He adds, trying to sound as excited as he can so we don't turn him down.

"Sure," I answer him, earning a suprised look from Infinty. On a normal night I would definitely say no, but I don't know if it's the new apartment or the look on Theo's face, but I feel free and tonight I just want to have fun.

"Since when would Destiny ever go to a party on a school night?" Infinity chuckles. "But since this probably won't ever happen again we should get ready before she changes her mind," she quickly adds before stalking into her room to get dressed for the party.

As we walk into the house all I can hear are the loud screams of music, and all I can see are sweaty bodys grinding against eachother. I crinkle my nose in disguist, reminding myself of why I don't come to partys.
