Dear, School Board

The school board should provide funding for the art programs. I personally really love going to art class it helps me stay focused the rest of the school day, so i'm not writting or drawing in my notebooks or attempting to draw on the desk. The Art programs like, drama, music, dance help kids express themselves in the only way they know how.It lets them know that if they keep doing good in school they can keep doing what they like to do most, it motivates them to do better, and when they get out of high school they might realy want to think about having one of the art classes as a carrer.

If kids dont express themselves they probably wont be very social with others and they'll most likley put a wall between them and other people, some might try to get themselves sick so they won't have to go to school because they don't share any hobbies or just don't talk to alot of people in general. If there school funded for programs like drama, music, or dance they would get a chance to meet new people, they might even discovery something about themselves they never even knew they could do.

Having extracurucilar activities like drama would help motivate kids to do better in school, to there choirs around the house, and probably do some extra things to make sure they can continue doing what they like doing. without the motivation the childs may just stop doing things altogether leading to bad grades, high school drop out, and other terrible things that'll get your kid in trouble. If they have stronge motivation to do stuff the kid will be happier and so will the parents knowing that ther child is doing better in school.

When you child gets out of high school having the extracuricular classes would have helped them big time to decide wheather they want to go to college and continue doing what they like to do and possibly get a career in that job area. If you child doesn't know what they want to do it will be very difficult to decide if they want to go to college or not excpecially if they don't like going to school.

Some people might say that the school should fund sport programs instaed of art, if the school did that it wouldnt be fare to the other who can't play sport or the kids who just arem't that active, and if they finded for the art programs the scholl wouldn't have to worry about getting complaints from parent about not having drama, music, or dance.

In conclusion I have talked about why the you the school board should fund for the art programs, and why it would help other out who can't express themselves can get alot of benefit from the art programs.
