Globalization has taken place for centuries, from acquiring new land and creating colonies to creating a nation. Many would like to believe the world is taking shape to emerge as a "World Society", the electronic and internet era has advanced us light years to allow communication from a far in seconds, market goods and services to nations outside the corporation homes base as well as accelerate important news and political events from all over the world. Multiple Links and interconnections to a level greater than many realize, are we all "Linkedin" and are the "Faces" of society just a click away, yes, the "Facebook" phenomneon. Globalization is an increase in the impact of human activities: economic, social, cultural, political and Psychological. This not only changes commerce, the transaction method in which the corporation seeks profitability to the effects of our everyday life.

In the Internet era, one of the greatest changes to rapidly advance Globalization is Time. Many positive changes have affected our society with corporation and government ability to create awareness in communities within minutes to seconds with the use of the Internet and electronic communication devices. The Corporate America of today strategizes with broader plans of expansion to increase profit opportunity as well as business diversity. The market is constantly changing as is a nation's stability, therefore globalization and the increase of business diversity allows businesses to no longer be so tied into only one part of the globe. In a world that is coming together in so many areas and at the same in battle in some many places, we must maintain fluid to not only protect our commerce but also the American people.

Corporations all over the world have learned the power of the internet and the power of mobility. Friedman says, "This global team-work brings an added benefit-a globally distributed virtually twenty-four-per-day development cycle."(Friedman,122) Friedman is accurate in his portrayal of global team work and how it effects globalization, this also a result of internet and web capabilities to link the global teams at various distribution points. as well as the impact People from all nations are not limited to access news regarding a new Microsoft Office release, Faster Intel Processor with Turbo Boost Technology, or a new Trend from Gucci only at home on a personal computer. That information is in our hands, practically anywhere on the Globe- at faster speeds, whether we are at home in Silicon Valley, California or on a vacation in Paris, France. Corporations have learned the power of the internet, to increase brand awareness while simplifying the accessibility of their products to people from all over the world.
