High school versus College

All students want their best in their lives and for that they need academic qualifications. And at every stage of learning since from kindergarten to high school and to college level, we feel lots of differences and some similarities, such as taking tests , giving assignment , spending money in high school and college , schedule of classes, class room environment etc.

One of the obvious differences that I have observed between high school and college is the way of taking assignments. High school students can make excuse if they aren't able to bring their assignment on time in the class. They can say that they have left their homework assignments at home or it's in their locker. But if any college student says like that then the professor will not give them other chances instead they will say that it too bad excuse. The second difference is the way of taking test ; in high school you can have test after every 2-3 week interval , but in college you will be having test in every week.Another important difference is that in high school students can get book from school without paying any fee, whereas in college we need to buy book for every classes in each subject. The fourth difference is that unlike high school, college is quite expensive. For example in high school we don't need to pay fee for books and even for any classes, but in college we need to pay in everything we do such as registration fee, health insurance fee, each subject fee etc. The last difference is that when you get absent in your class for more than 2 days then you can get fail in your final exams in college, but in high school you can make excuse to prevent it's impact on grade .

However, there are some similarities that are found in between high school and college that we normally don't realize it unless and until we try to observe it.

In spite of all these differences, both the high school and college have the same kind of schedule for classes and class room environment. Also both of them have same kind of grading system. Likewise the college students , high school students also become responsible to become independent in their life without the help of their parents. For instance, high school students become responsible by preparing themselves for the further education. They start to prepare for the SAT, also they went to some of the college for further enquiry about the college

In brief, there are may differences cahracteristics feature between high school and college as compared to its similarity based on the academic way of style of teaching, learning and environment surrounding it.
