This paper will focus on the immigration history of Canada, the analysis about why people choose Canada as their first immigration choice, and the main policies and methods about immigration. A variety of communications and conflicts from immigration will be discussed also, there include culture, economy, religion, and education etc. With the analysis about these aspects, more immigration problems will be found and solved, and Canada's immigration policy will be more improvement.There are three official reasons to explain why people immigrate to Canada: 1. The social component - Canada facilitates family reunification. 2. The humanitarian component - Relating to refugees. 3. The economic component - Attracting immigrants who will contribute economically and fill labor market needs. If you also want to immigrate to Canada, you need know the standard of immigration office. There are four popular ways to immigrate, skilled migration, business migrant, immigrant students and Provincial Nomination. Nowadays, immigration is one of the most popular issues in Canada. In 2001's Census, 250,640 people immigrated to Canada. On a compounded basis, the immigration rate represents 8.7% population growth over 10 years. Since 2001, immigration has ranged between 221,352 and 262,236 immigrants per year [1]. Then In 2010, there were two hundred and eighty thousand people immigrated to Canada; and the Canadian government predicted almost 240,000 to 260,000 people will migrate to Canada in 2012. Meanwhile, Canada had four major waves of immigration in two century, and the fifth is going on.Therefore, with the increasing number of the immigrates, the advantages and disadvantages are influence in decision makers about the regulation in immigration policies.
