Patient Case

Patient is thoroughly checked in the Emergency room

 If condition is very critical he is referred to North Delhi/Narela/Sonipat Super Speciality Hospital

 If he is treatable he is admitted after filling up the Admission Treatment Slip/OPD register slip

 If he has any dental problem the doctor in the dental clinic is informed to check the patient

 Doctor Writes a prescription and send it to the pharmacy

 The pharmacy technician reviews the prescription (medicine prescribed, doses etc.), if he finds any discrepancy, he consults the doctor and accordingly does the changes.

 After reviewing the prescription, if no discrepancy found the pharmacy technician, do the data entry in the register as well as in the computer(Nature of injury, Treatment given i.e. medicine and fee to be paid) and then gives the medicine to the specified Nurse to give it to the respective patient .

 The day patient is discharged; patient is told to put his signature in the admission slip and sent to the Billing Section along with the Admission Slip.

 If the condition is not critical and can be discharged soon,

 patient is told to fill up the OPD register slip

 Doctor Writes a prescription and send it to the pharmacy

 The pharmacy technician reviews the prescription (medicine prescribed, doses etc.), if he finds any discrepancy, he consults the doctor and accordingly does the changes.

 After reviewing the prescription, if no discrepancy found the pharmacy technician, do the data entry in the register as well as in the computer (Nature of injury, Treatment given i.e. medicine and fee to be paid) and the patient is discharged after getting the required medicine.

 The pharmacy technician maintains a short medicine book to record the medicine discharged as well as to ensure the availability.
