Reflection Essay

As I look back at all my discussions and seminars, I will say that this course in a whole has made a stronger and better candidate for the business world.

I know I am more confident in the person I am now from who I was then. In the beginning of this course, I lacked many traits. I did not realize some of the areas I was deficient, had it not been for this course. The key concepts I found that help improve my professional and personal lifestyle was the time management, goal planning, and the s.m.a.r.t studies. It was such an impact for me to learn how to implement these techniques learned in this course to coincide with my way of life. The strategies from every unit prepared me for my career journey. I learned to not procrastinate and set realistic goals. I even learned what type of studying skills I portrayed to keep me focused for my school assignments. This course has helped me to know myself better. It educated me with skills I will take with me to my future courses. I now have a better comprehension of the business world. At this moment, I have implemented many of my new traits to my current position.

This course has helped me both personally and professionally in various ways. I can honestly say that I have a layout and plan to use it for my future. I have set a timeline for the next few years to have more control of my life. I have organized my goals clearly and thoroughly. By knowing my goals, I will manage my path that I have chosen to take, and more likely will be satisfied with my career decisions. I learned how to be non dependent with my professor by taking this course and working hard to maintain good grades. As I reflect on my developments, I would say my greatest weakness became my greatest strength. I think this was an excellent learning experience. Now that I feel more confident, I am eager to be taught more and apply myself completely to attain my degree. I will now bring vigor, enthusiastic, vision, and eagerness for the intricate and demanding responsibilities I will encounter in my upcoming business classes.

In closing, I would like to add that I have really enjoyed the experience of this class. It has been good for me to learn first-hand what the outside business world is all about. It was an amazing encounter Ms. Hooker. I want to say thank you for your help and direction. I just have to say with faith you can move mountains. You've instilled in me the confidence, I lacked when I decided to return to school. I now believe I can cross the mountain and continue the long journey that awaits me, once again thank you. As I was once told, no one trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to trip. Once you pass all those pebbles in your path, you will find you have crossed the mountain.
