The Known Love That I Felt From My Mother

I have experienced all types of love in my lifetime. The love that my mother felt for me is by far the greatest love that I have ever experienced. I know that my mother loved me with all of her heart. The person that loves another always wants to be near their loved ones and spend time with them as to show their affection as told by Price (2012). My mother and I were inseparable until she passed away about 21 years ago but, I have never had any other love that compares with the love the she adorned upon me. There are three empirical reasons that I know that my mother loved me; my mother worked two jobs to support me, my mother always threw me birthday parties every year and she always encouraged me to further my education.

The first reason that I know that my mother loved me is because she worked to jobs to support me. She was a single mother and wanted to make sure that I was financially able to enjoy all of the benefits of a child that had two working parents. My mother worked full-time on the weekdays and worked a second part-time job on the weekends. She did all of this so that she could afford to allow me to take piano lesson and participate in the sports that I wanted to play. She was also able to pay my tuition to a private Christian school by doing so. As told by Leblanc& Slaughter (2012) many religious schools have in their mission/vision statements the goals of nurturing and supporting the growth of the mind, body, and spirit of young people.

Birthday Parties

The next reason that I know that my mother loved me is because every birthday she threw parties for me. She did this up until the day she passed away. My mother said that she enjoyed commemorating the day that I was born. She said that it was the best day of her life. She told me that the love that a mother feels for a child could not be equaled. My mother financially planned out my parties. She used a lot of creativity and not a lot of money. Throwing parties that will be remembered does not have to break the bank as told by Anson (2013). My birthday parties were always unforgettable occasions. All of my family members looked forward to them every year.

Encouragement to Further Education

The final reason that I know that my mother loved me is because she always encouraged me to further my education. I got married at an early
