A.

1. describe the physical qualities of Aponi-tolau?

2. what kind of person is Aponi-tolau in cordiliera region?

3. how does Aponi-tolau spend his life and responsibilities in the place?

4. describe the attitude of Aponi-tolau?

5. if you were Aponi-tolau how would you react to the maiden's of the sea?

After reading this myth I surmised that Aponi-tolau's story is similar to the story of Adam and Eve. They live in a place where everything was already sorted out for them and everything was in place but because of one simple recklessness things go in disarray.

Aponi-Tolau must have been of strong built since the passage describes him as a warrior. He must be very wrong for him to have the courage to do radical things like that out of boredom. This also shows how irresponsible and short fused he is. He was a trespasser in the palace of the Sea God yet when he was lured in by the maidens it sparked anger in him when in the first place its obvious that that was what he wanted anyway, to explore. When Aponi-Toulau was faced with the wrath of the Sea God he quickly asked his mother for help. Again, it is another sign of irresponsibility when he couldn't take charge and answer to and fight for himself. If I was Aponi-Tolau I wouldn't have been so temperamental. Instead, I would respect the sea maidens. For one because they are ladies and it makes it totally wrong to slay a woman or hurt her physically and another, because it is their grounds anyway and he is an intruder. How does he expect to be treated anyway.

Aponi-Tolau: I am from the mountain side, I am the god-hero of the Tinguians.

Maidens: We have heard nothing about your place nor have we heard anything about you and your people.

Aponi-Tolau: Well then would any of you want to come and see for yourself what I'm talking about?

Maidens: Oh no thank you, we are completely satisfied here. We can have anything here. Would you want to see our palace instead? It must be nothing like yours.

Aponi-Tolau: How arrogant of your maidens to talk that way of a place you haven't been to or even seen.
