Leadership can be described as a person who is with his/her ability to influence a group of people in order to achieve a goal or an aim. Leadership is regarded to the trait theory and behavioral theory, the differentiation between these two theories is that trait theory concern on the leaders' inherent trait and there traits are innate while the behavioral theory believe that a leader can be form by teaching in a skill set of leadership. A leadership styles mean the leader's style of implementing plans, directing method and motivating approach. There are several leadership styles that can be shown by leaders in term of political, business or other areas. These leadership styles are Authoritarian, Democratic and Laissez-faire.

Authoritarian leadership style is known as autocratic leader, it shows that the leader keeps strict, close control over followers by stipulate close regulation of policies and procedures given to followers. In the other word, leaders tell their employees what they want done and how they want it accomplished without listening the suggestion from their followers.

Democratic leadership style means the leader is sharing their decision-making abilities with his/her group members by practicing social equality. Discussion, debate and sharing of ideas are involves in this leadership style, and also have encouragement of people to feel good about their involvement. But the leader maintains the final decision making authority.

Laissez-faire leadership style allows their employees to make the decisions. In this leadership style, employees/followers are allowed to have high degree of autonomy and self-rule. Normally this is used when leaders think their followers are able to analyze the situation and determine what needs to e done and how to do it. In the other word, this style of leader is fully trust and confidence in the people below them.
