In a modern society, the impact of culture on team performance is extensive and profound.

First of all, people with diverse and various backgrounds come to work together. For example, team members may have different religion, education, working skills and team-cooperated abilities. As the saying goes, different people have different idea. Also, people who have different cultural background have different opinions. Every culture has its own ways of expression, which reflects in its communication and interaction practices. With the combination of all individual's knowledge, we can solve several problems and bring out a better solution as soon as possible. Therefore, we can save the time and make more profit for the company. The most important thing is we can enhance the efficiency.

Secondly, mutual trust is a key factor to the team performance. Mutual trust is conducive to the harmony of whole team. With trust among others, individual of different disposition, experience, thinking mode can have a better understanding and communication. Therefore, mutual trust reduces unnecessary conflicts and frictions in the team, and then people can create a good team performance.

Thirdly, team spirit also makes a significant impact on team performance. Whether team spirit exists or not, determines the team's fighting and going forward abilities. Besides, it also determines the team's strength. We can assume that if there is no team spirit existed, a group of individual will not be a whole unit. Without mutual care and mutual cooperation, and people have not a same aim, it can not be called a team. Also, the fighting power is extremely weak.

Fourthly, open communication is another significant element to the team performance. Open communication is the foundation of most meaningful relationships, especially in the team. Listening, comforting and discussing sensitive issues are extremely significant. People must listen closely and clearly understand what your team member told you, and then respond to them as soon as possible. Be sure to speak directly and clearly, because it is help to the team performance.

Furthermore, culture influences managerial styles and management team decisions.
